Description We are inviting applications for the position of Controller located in Lancaster, California. This role is a short-term contract opportunity in the manufacturing industry. The selected candidate will be expected to liaise with an external accounting firm, create financial forecasts and budgets, prepare financial reports, and perform auditing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with third-party accounting firms to gather necessary financial information.

• Developing and implementing budgets and forecasts for financial planning.

• Preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports for internal use.

• Conducting audits of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Overseeing cash flow management and providing relevant insights.

• Utilizing skills in auditing, budget processes, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting to perform tasks effectively.

• Applying knowledge of preparing financial statements and forecasting budgets to drive financial planning.

• Bringing start-up experience into play to navigate and manage financial challenges unique to start-ups. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar

• Proficient in Auditing practices and principles

• Strong understanding of Budget Processes is required

• Capable of performing Budgeting and Forecasting tasks efficiently

• Skilled in Cash Flow Forecasts and Cash Flow Analysis

• Experience in Audit and Financial duties is essential

• Ability to Prepare Financial Statements accurately and promptly

• Proficient in Financial Reporting and related tasks.
