ManpowerGroup 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Lancaster, Ohio

Our client is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join their team. The Production Supervisor coordinates the daily production activities of the Production Associates working in his/her respective production line(s) with respect to job assignment and job rotation to ensure quality standards and production schedules are achieved.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Lancaster, OH

Pay Range: $70-75k

What’s the Job?

• Coordinates daily production activities including job assignments and rotations.

• Meets with the Team Leader prior to shift start-up to understand the current line and production state, absentee/tardiness call-ins, and changes to normal employee work areas/equipment.

• Together with the Team Leader, holds daily pre-shift meetings to inform Production Associates of any changes, to communicate daily requirements and to promote involvement in issues affecting employees or their work areas.

What’s Needed?

  • MUST have manufacturing experience, preferably automotive manufacturing, Tier 1 supplier

  • At least 3 years supervisory experience in a busy manufacturing environment

  • Must be able to be flexible in a changing environment

  • Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lead the shift team
