MPC Industries, LLC Machine Operator in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Classification: Hourly
*Purpose of the Job: *
Use machining centers and inspection equipment to produce quality parts
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload parts on/off of machining centers
- Work with the team to optimize production and equipment efficiency
- Demonstrate proper work practices to maintain a safe working environment
- Check coolant levels and keep machining centers clean
- Do visual and dimensional inspections per applicable documents (i.e. inspection procedure, print, work instruction, etc.)
- Record quantity of parts produced

Physical and Mental Demands:
- Attention to detail with a high level of concentration
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Practice safety guidelines
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to master repetitive task with high degree of accuracy and precision
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Work effectively with Coworkers and others
- Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Works indoors in adequate work space, with adequate temperatures, ventilation and lighting
- Regularly works in and around manufacturing noise, dust and fumes
- Normal manufacturing exposure to noise, stress and disruptions
