The Community Health Centers of Lane County (CHCLC) is seeking a Clinic Services Supervisor to provide the full range of supervisory duties to include personnel and resource management comprised of coordinating staffing support, scheduling, hiring, and enforcement of performance standards. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, implementation of evidenced based practice, policy enforcement, performance/quality improvement, utilization management, HRSA preparedness, staff education and competency validation, direct patient care activities and other support activities within the scope of practice.

The CHCLC is a rapidly expanding division of Lane County Health & Human Services. This Clinical Supervisor position will be a part of a collaborative CHCLC leadership team who oversee day-to-day operations and activities of clinic staff for our Integrated Oral Health Team and our Dental Outreach Teams. We are looking for candidates with knowledge and experience working and supervising medical or dental support staff; including EPDH, dental assistants, and office assistants. This leader advises the senior leadership on clinic needs; reviews, recommends changes, and assists in the development of regulations, procedures, and other matters. As a Clinical Supervisor, you are responsible for working with senior leaders to optimize team performance, Community Care Organization Metrics, Oregon Health Authority Primary Care Patient Centered Medical Home, preventive health care measures, access to care and other organizational directed initiatives. You will support the CHCLC vision, mission, and organizational strategic themes for performance by aligning clinic initiatives and practices with FQHC and OHA regulations. You will participate in CHCLC meetings/activities to enhance the quality of management practices, policy definition, procedures, and programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Training and Experience

  • Eight years of education and/or experience in business or medical office administration, or similar, including one year of experience in a supervisory, management, or leadership role; or a combination sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

    Special Requirements:

  • Those with clinical licenses or certifications (e.g., LPN, MA, EMT) are encouraged to apply.

  • Individuals may meet the training and experience requirement by possessing a four year degree and four years of experience of healthcare job experience.

  • Individuals with less than a four year degree need additional years of health care experience to qualify. Total years of experience, including years of education and professional experience added together, should equal at least 8.

  • 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
