Raytheon Technologies Sr Operations Engineer II in Largo, Florida

The Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) Advanced Manufacturing, Modernization, and Technology (AMMT) team is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and

creative

team member to

help

guide development programs on transition to

develop

(TTB) and utilization of common automated test.

This person will be working closely with development programs in multiple locations across the US and will report to the Operations TTB and common automated test lead.

The sites

supported

include El Segundo (CA), McKinney (TX), Forest (MS), Goleta

(CA), and Largo (FL), in addition to operations and automation engineers from other Raytheon business units.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of

supporting

development programs with emphasis on, or through, transition to production, designing and executing strategic plans, demonstrate thorough data metrics and visualization skills,

excellent

written and verbal

communication

skills, and a

creative

,

original

mindset.

This person will be a key contributor to critical activities from development through production transition across an eye watering portfolio of technology development and manufacturing programs in our defense and aerospace sector.

They will be joining the AMMT team in guiding advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 through lean methodologies and technical

passion

.

Required

Skills :

• Minimum of 6

years

of experience of program and factory experience in transition to build/New Production Introduction (NPI) starting in the product development phases • Experience in creating and documenting strategic plans. • Facilitating

communication

between engineering, operations, and programs •

Understanding

of production testing and manufacturing automation • Experience in guiding teams across functions, and

supporting

via impact (teams that are not

direct

reports) • Ability to be a closer –

cultivate

tasks from initiation to closure •

Understanding

of TRL/MRL • Must be a U.S. Citizen

• U.S. Citizenship status is

required

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a manufacturing

environment

• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory concepts, Digital Manufacturing Simulation. •

Understanding

of Lean ethics and terminology (including 3P), Six Sigma, and/or agile scrum.

Understanding

the manufacturing floor during troubleshooting and sustainment. • Ability to

collaborate

with digital and test automation suppliers and integrators, particularly for electronic systems. • Experience or education in systems engineering and application to automation systems.

• Experience with physical automation systems (robots, vision systems, PLCs, etc.).

• Earned

Understanding

of AS6500, PFMEA, and/or PPAP

Required

Education:

• Bachelors’ in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or other related technical fields

Desired Education:

• Masters in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or other related technical fields
