Job Description:
Teaching (75%):
Oversees and conducts one or more choral ensembles, and teaches graduate choral literature sequence.
Teach seven courses a year, which could include, undergraduate choral conducting, applied voice lessons, undergraduate choral music education classes, supervising/mentoring graduate teaching assistants, or related fields. Teaching load will not exceed four courses for a one semester period.
Service (25%):
Work cooperatively in support of the School of Music and the University, including service on graduate and faculty committees.
Collaborates with other members of the faculty.
Recruit music majors and students pursuing other major area of study.
Participates actively in the cultural and intellectual life of the School and the University.

Position Overview:
The University of Kansas, School of Music seeks to fill a full-time, academic year (nine month), non-tenured choral conductor to teach in ann Assistant Professor of the Practice capacity to begin on August 18, 2025.
