Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Pay Rate: $20 per hour (temp to perm)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision peel grinding machines and milling machines in accordance with approved and safe work procedures. This role involves machining, soldering, and assembling precision steel components to build Valve Pins.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate precision peel grinding machines and milling machines.

• Plan and lay out work using various devices, machine attachments, and fixtures.

• Machine, solder, and assemble precision steel components to build Valve Pins.

• Ensure conformance to specifications using height gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices.

• Evaluate results and quality to ensure parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances.

• Complete work orders, associated documents, and labor as required.

• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.

• Proficiency in setting up and operating precision peel grinding machines and milling machines.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Proficiency in using height gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices.

• Knowledge of soldering techniques and assembly processes.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
