Job Title: Machinist - High Speed Milling

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Type: Temp to Perm

Hourly Rate: $20/hour

Core Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate precision CNC High-Speed Milling machines following approved safety procedures.

• Plan and schedule work, set up equipment, and tools using various devices, machine attachments, and fixtures.

• Machine precision steel parts and electrodes from copper and graphite.

• Ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring devices like CMM, height gauges, micrometers, etc.

• Evaluate results and quality to ensure parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances.

• Complete work orders, associated documents, and labor requirements.

• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.

• Contribute to the team effort and continuous improvement of operational processes.

Skills:

• Organization and thoroughness in following quality and safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Time management skills to meet deadlines.

• Basic CAM knowledge.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.

• Inspection experience and proficiency in using precision measuring devices.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety measures.

• Desire to learn and grow within the company.

• Flexibility with rotating shift work.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

• 3+ years of experience in High-Speed Milling.

• Journeyman Certification is a plus.

• Experience on Mikron High-Speed Milling machines is a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
