Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Lebanon, Tennessee. The primary function of this role involves providing financial input to our business decision-making process with the aim of maximizing long-term value, cash flows, and shareholder return. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including monthly close, financial forecasts, annual operating plans, and analysis of operating results. This role also involves supporting continuous improvement activities to achieve world-class financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze month-end results: Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet including variance analysis

• Support the development of month-end results package for presentation to Senior Management

• Assist in monthly close including Balance Sheet reconciliation and accurate Revenue and Expense oversight

• Conduct weekly reviews of production order variances to identify unusual variances and report root cause

• Provide monthly financial forecasts and analysis

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics to support business requirements

• Support the development and analysis of the annual operating plan

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Utilize skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, QuickBooks, SAP, Job Cost, Variance Analysis effectively in daily tasks. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and maintaining the General Ledger.

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately.

• Experience with Month End Close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

• Knowledge of SAP software for enterprise resource planning.

• Experience with Job Cost accounting, providing accurate cost information for decision making.

• Skill in Variance Analysis, identifying and explaining variances in financial performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Familiarity with all regulatory standards for financial operations.
