We are looking for an Inspector to join our team at Sulzer Pumps, based in Leeds. We are a top employer and one of the world's leading pump manufacturers. Sulzer provides a wide range of products for pumping solutions across the water, oil and gas, power, and chemicals industries.
As our Inspector you will help with all inspection operations whilst ensuring minimal disruption to the manufacturing process. If you are self-motivated, conscientious, and ambitious, we would love to hear from you!

*Your main tasks and responsibilities: *
Conduct dimensional inspections of raw and machined components during various stages of manufacture
Perform non-destructive testing methods (NDT) according to your qualifications and training
Sign off operations and tasks deemed acceptable during the inspection process
Investigate and raise non-conformances identified during the inspection process
Provide instructions for re-works to be undertaken
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continual improvement
*To succeed in this role, you will need: *
HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering
Relevant experience within a related industry
Knowledge of health and safety requirements
Experience using measuring equipment
NDT experience/qualifications are advantageous but not essential
Good general PC skills, including Excel, Word
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change
Excellent attention to detail
