About the Role

As the Senior DBA you will work closely with our Data Analysis, DevOps and Professional Services teams giving you the possibility to explore how data is used across the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring maintenance of all databases and related technologies.

• Mitigating customer-impacting issues and support product and infrastructure releases according to development plans and schedules.

• Being Responsible for installation of new database infrastructure and equipment and monitoring its stability.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.

• Staying up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the database field.

• Responding to issues and support calls in-line with relevant procedures, including security.

• Providing guidance and support to junior DBAs and development teams.

Requirements

• Experience of SQL Server / PostgreSQL

• Experience of Cloud database deployments on AWS, data Analytics and data warehouses.

• Have Good understanding of database infrastructure, maintenance, administration, and design.

• Experience in troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues that involve database infrastructure.

• Be able to complete database infrastructure installations.

• Be able to research new or alternative database technologies.

• Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
