As a Senior Management Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in collating, developing, and reporting the company's financial information, ensuring the accurate completion of management accounts to deadlines.

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including Plant Trading Summary and Percentage of Completion Summary, ensuring timely completion.

  • Collaborating on financial forecasting of revenues, CoGs, and Order Related Gross Profit, providing explanations to the wider business where necessary.

  • Completing monthly Capex & Fixed Asset reconciliations.

  • Working closely with the Assistant Accountant on Cost centre reviews, reconciliations, Stock & WIP reports, and Project Cost Accruals.

  • Coordinating and developing monthly Cost Control meetings, providing support and information to the Project Manager

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication, influencing, and persuasion skills

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships effectively

  • Excellent team working and organisation skills

  • Capability to act independently and adapt to change

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work

  • Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA

  • Experience in manufacturing

  • Excellent knowledge of monthly management accounts

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (required)

  • Understanding of ERP/database management (SAP knowledge required).

  • General computer skills
