Title: Collections & Accounts Receivable Specialist

The main duties for this position will involve business-to-business collections efforts. The Collections & Accounts Receivable specialist will report directly to the AR Supervisor. The candidate will be expected to contact customers to obtain payment status and information to increase incoming cash flow efforts.

Other duties will involve:

• Reviewing aging reports

• Making collections attempts

• Generate credit memos as needed

• Send clients missing invoices or additional information pertaining to their outstanding balances

• Post payments to AR accounts

• Research & resolve any discrepancies between what was invoiced and what was paid

To be considered, you must have prior collections and/or Accounts Receivable experience. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required.

The hours for this position are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

The Collections & Accounts Receivable position is located at the manufacturing facility in Leetsdale, PA. This position is onsite.

Requirements • Applicant must possess a strong background in Collections.

• Proficiency in Data Entry is essential.

• Experience in handling Direct Phone Calls is required.

• Skills in Paper Filing are desirable.

• Familiarity with the Manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and professionalism.

• Availability for immediate start is advantageous.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to negotiate effectively and handle customer issues.

• Strong understanding of financial processes and principles.

• Experience with customer relationship management software is a plus.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

• High school diploma or equivalent is needed; a degree in finance or related field is preferred.
