Manpower is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for one of our clients in Rockford, TN. You will Support detector development projects by providing prototype assembly process, refinement and fixturing. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience , Microsoft Excel knowledge and ability to work with electro-mechanical systems which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Rockford, TN

Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm (days off will be during the week)

Pay Range: $24

What’s the Job?

• Build and operate RF furnaces and simple electro-mechanical systems related to crystal growth and/or to crystal fabrication.

• Growing crystals used in imaging equipment.

• Mix raw materials to a specified mixture.

• Monitor various crystal growth processes.

• Operation record keeping, maintaining accurate records of all processing steps on paper and in database.

What’s Needed?

• Experience of working in product oriented technical-industrial environment. (3 years preferred as Machine Operator, Production Team Worker or related role).

• Ability to interpret and analyze complex instrumentation.

• Good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).

• Must be comfortable working in hot environment.

• Ability to lift 35lbs.

• Must pass background check and drug screening.

• High School Diploma
