This role will serve as a corporate and field Environmental and ESG specialist supporting environmental legal compliance and advancement of reducing Valvoline Global Operations Environmental Footprint.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support global environmental permitting, permit management to ensure compliance and minimize environmental releases.

  • Support advancement of the EHS corporate standards and training and materials for RC14001.

  • Support advancement of ESG / Sustainability initiatives within Valvoline global working closely as part of the ESG subcommittee.

  • Support Environmental / ESG reporting to all internal and external stakeholders including customer requests, completion of LCAs or carbon foot-printing for raw materials and finished goods under the direction of the corporate Environmental Manager.

  • Make “field trips” to support the EHS Regional Managers to ensure legal compliance and to train site personnel to build and ensure competence.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

What You’ll Need

  • BS in science or engineering

  • 5 years of environmental and/or sustainability management is preferred.

  • Must be proficient at MS Office tools

  • Ability to develop training and communications

  • Must have a technical education knowledge base in sciences or engineering.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
