This role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing accounting functions, managing budget processes, and providing financial forecasting. The successful candidate will also be adept at using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for reporting purposes.

Location: Lexington, KY (fully on site)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization

• Develop and implement budget processes to ensure financial efficiency

• Provide financial forecasting to aid in business planning and decision-making

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and create detailed reports

• Use QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and financial management

• Regularly report on financial status including income statement variances, to stakeholders

• Develop strategies to enhance financial performance and business opportunities

• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

• Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions and principles

• Proficiency in budget processes and financial forecasting

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data

• Expertise in financial software and applications, such as QuickBooks

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities

• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments

• MBA or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field

• Professional accreditation such as CPA, CFA, or similar is desirable.
