We’re looking to hire a self-starter and dependable Maintenan ce Technician to join our team in the Lexington, KY area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance needs of the property and units, including daily work orders, monthly smoke alarm and filter changes. Qualified candidates will have previous apartment or property maintenance and carpentry skills.
Location: Oakdale Apartments - 2464 Mulundy Dr., Lexington, KY 40511.
Job Type : Part Time ( 2 0 hours per week).
Work Schedule: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Mon-Wed-Fri).
Compensation : $ 20 . 00 per hour, plus monthly cel l phone reimbursement of $50 .
Sign-on bonus of $ 2 50!
Qualifications/Requirements:
P roperty or apartment maintenance experience.
Knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, basic plumbing, basic electric al , etc.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must possess own basic hand tools.
After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
Other related tasks, as assigned.
