What You’ll Be Doing:

Site Reliability Engineer (Brea, CA-Telecommuting Permissible) (multiple positions).

Leverage automation and other custom solutions to reduce the operational toil within cloud services and overall infrastructure.

Implement and maintain core security model configuration in accordance with Infosec guidance.

Engage in cost optimization exercises with core engineering and enterprise architecture teams.

Execute technical debt mitigation strategy with other engineers and architects on the team. Serve as a Cloud Platform SME for the team.

Telecommuting permissible.

Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 per year.

Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunication Systems Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, and three (3) years work experience in the job offered or a related position analyzing system performance metrics.

Also requires three (3) year experience with each:

(1) using Ansible on Linux server for production code deployments;

(2) PowerShell and Python scripting to monitor and automate deployments;

(3) Confluence for preparing documents related to monitoring and root cause analysis;

(4) Migrating large scale on-premise applications to cloud platform;

(5) using Agile-Scrum methodology to track deliverables.

Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
