This role supports a particular region, performing administrative functions in areas of contract administration, procurement and payables, inventory, cross area support, budgeting and forecasting, metrics, training and support activities and compliance. The Field Office Administrator should be a fast learner and a strong team player.

For Field Office Administrator III:

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Performs moderately complex tasks requiring standard techniques, procedures and criteria

  • Evaluates department needs, reviews vendor costs, discounts and contracts

  • Reviews demand patterns, weeks of supply, safety stock and inventory turnover to establish optimum holding costs

  • Responds to standard requests from internal/external customers in a timely/efficient manner

  • Compile reports, analysis and drawings from data given from a variety of sources

  • Makes independent decisions for office applications and administrative tasks

  • Participates as a team player for location and the FOA team and coordinates activities of others

  • Monitors cost responsibility reports and works to correct discrepancies

  • Understands and complies with requirements for safety

  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED and minimum three (3) years’ experience in general office clerical/administrative support

Other Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

  • Must be a fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

  • Must be a strong team player who can build partnerships with others
