Responsibilities

As a CX Designer, you will act as the user's advocate, crafting and refining their entire digital experience. Through research, you will uncover user needs and pain points, translating them into intuitive interfaces and smooth journeys across all digital touchpoints.

Key activities:

  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and journeys through customer journey mapping and user interviews

  • Utilize customer data and analytics to make data-driven design decisions, monitor the performance of design solutions, and iterate as needed

  • Work effectively with business, development, and other design teams to ensure alignment and feasibility

  • Develop intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX solutions for digital touchpoints (web, mobile apps, etc.)

  • Build interactive prototypes to test design concepts, gather feedback, and refine solutions

  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure that content aligns with the overall CX strategy and enhances the user experience. ( I think content makes sense for CMS web portals, but not sure what that means for OCC.)

  • Maintain knowledge of emerging CX trends and technologies to adapt to evolving user needs and expectations

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management Team to ensure alignment on business and product goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 5 years of technical project/program management experience

OR

  • Master’s degree

  • At least 3 years of technical project/program management experience

OR

  • At least 7 years of technical project/program management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

  • At least 4 years of CX design, UX design, or a related experience

  • Background in planning and executing customer research throughout various stages of the design process

  • Effective communication skills with ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including usability testing and prototyping

  • Skilled using design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision to develop and prototype design solutions

  • Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens

  • Creative problem solving and analytical thinking
