Navistar, Inc. Supply Chain PMO in Lisle, Illinois

Position Overview

Navistar is continuously developing and launching new improved programs and technologies and it is requiring a new position Supply Chain PMO role.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Supply Chain PMO who will have the following role and responsibilities:

  • Understanding program impacts to plants and supporting warehouse

  • Work closely with the Containerization team to understand Packaging needs and costs.

  • Submit and manage the Supply Chain budget and Project timeline to make sure it meets Program timing and budget.

  • Provide analysis on cost for Supply Chain improvement initiatives.

  • Support and track Lean Assessments and Value Stream Mapping sessions.

  • Be a Supply Chain Partner to each Commodity by Proactively providing Supply Chain Cost Savings Opportunities (CMT initiated, Program initiated, PFEP initiated, etc.)

  • Educate and Influence Stakeholders on Impacts to Supply Chain for each Initiative.

  • Identify when a Business Case is needs to be utilized and complete them (programs, insourcing, packaging, internal or external sequencing.)

  • Share Supply Chain Processes and Rules with all Stakeholders.

  • Interface with PFEP/Containers team for part planning accuracy, compliance, and feedback

  • Be the voice of the Plants and warehouses to understand impacts and added costs.

  • Other, as deemed necessary.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

  • 1 year lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree

  • At least 6 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

  • 1 year lead experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

  • 1 year lead experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Project Management experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Familiarization with a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of Logistics and Transportation processes preferred.

  • Creative Problem solver

  • Thrive within Ambiguity and Resilient to Change

  • Experience conducting VSM and Kiazan sessions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
