Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a fast paced, highly technical business environment. The position involves budget development, budget to actual reporting and reconciliation, business case development, and reconciliation of vendor accounts. This job offers opportunities to make significant contributions since the business is growing and processes and procedures are developing. A successful candidate will be able to build successful relationships and provide financial oversight for a rapidly growing business.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare annual budget and rolling forecasts

  • Analyze monthly financial performance and support month-end close

  • Build and maintain models for key operational and financial metrics

  • Deliver financial presentations to leadership with recommendations

  • Conduct project reviews with financial oversight

  • Utilize financial modeling to identify and quantify multiyear agreements

  • Track pending commitments and ensure financial accuracy

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Senior Financial Analyst, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • MBA or MS-Finance considered advantageous

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally in telecom or tech

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

  • Familiarity with financial tools like Smartview, Onestream

  • Understanding of business financial concepts and GAAP principles

  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, exceptional problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for senior executives

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
