We have an awesome Robert Half client looking for a Senior Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, cost accounting, and asset management. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Month End Close: Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and perform month-end close activities. Analyze financial data to drive strategic decision-making and collaborate with stakeholders to meet informational needs.

• Tax Compliance & Audit Support: Manage both internal and external audits, assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns across various jurisdictions, and keep abreast of tax law changes.

• Cost Accounting: Implement cost accounting systems, analyze cost variances, and drive cost efficiency initiatives across production and projects.

• Assets Management: Oversee the inventory of company assets from procurement to retirement, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with Fixed Assets Policies.

• Advanced Analytical Skills: Employ advanced Excel functions to refine financial processes, construct financial models, and train team members on efficient data management practices.

• Team Collaboration & Process Improvement: Provide financial insights to cross-functional teams, identifying and implementing process enhancements to boost financial operation efficiencies.

• IFRS Reporting: Leverage your expertise in IFRS to enhance our global financial reporting standards and ensure compliance with new implementations.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, emphasizing financial reporting and tax compliance.

• Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, cost accounting systems, and tax regulations.

• Proficient in advanced Excel, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of integrity and a keen eye for detail.
