Description We are in the wine industry, based in Lodi, California, and we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk. This role involves managing customer accounts in a precise and efficient manner. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the process of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries regarding their accounts

• Monitor customer accounts and carry out suitable actions when necessary

• Manage account reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate

• Handle billing processes, ensuring all invoices are issued on time

• Conduct cash applications by applying payments to appropriate customer accounts

• Oversee cash collections, ensuring all payments are collected timely and accurately

• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in executing tasks

• Perform commercial collections where necessary, adhering to industry standards and regulations. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Receivable Clerk role or similar position

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Demonstrable experience with accounts receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing procedures

• Experience with cash applications

• Ability to execute cash collections and commercial collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge and experience using Oracle

• Familiarity with QuickBooks

• Experience with SAP

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Must demonstrate high level of integrity and professionalism

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
