Overview The Registrar's Office is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our small but dynamic and collaborative team. This position reports directly to the Assistant Registrar for Concurrent Enrollment and Curriculum. The Catalog Editor and Curriculum Coordinator (Coordinator SR) is crucial in maintaining accurate and timely information in the University Catalog and reviewing curriculum submissions. This position serves as a liaison with the academic departments to ensure accuracy of data requirements and content. They are a key team member in understanding and interpreting university policies and procedures, systems, and programs pertaining to the university catalog and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

  • Edits and maintains the online university catalog while adhering to university policies and procedures and ensuring degree requirements are consistent across various systems.
  • Reviews and enters course curriculum changes in the university curriculum management software and Banner system.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and staff to ensure accuracy of course and program requirements and content.
  • Provides technical and functional support to the university-wide community for the curriculum management software and the degree audit system.
  • Assists in maintenance of the degree audit program and assists in the resolution of degree audit issues.
  • Maintains communication with campus partners.
  • Provides training for faculty and staff as needed.
  • Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

  • Six years office-related experience or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education plus experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), and databases.

  • Ability to work effectively in a customer-service-based office, and to manage multiple tasks in a timely, efficient and detail-oriented manner.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and with a team.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload appropriately, as well as the willingness to adjust responsibilities as needed.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, letter-writing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and high level of professionalism.
