Role Profile

Position: Warehouse Technician

Job Location: DeeTag - London, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Day Shift, M-F

Summary of the Role

This position will be responsible for picking product from the warehouse, shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

  • Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.

  • Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.

  • Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping.

  • Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts.

  • Assists with physical inventory.

  • Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.

  • Kit and prepare customer orders for shipment according to customer specifications.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Applicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner.

  • Must have good communication skills.

  • Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure.

  • Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • The ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of warehousing or production experience in an industrial setting is preferred.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Reliable transportation is a must.

  • Some overtime may be required
