JOB SUMMARY

This is an opportunity for experienced Baristas to join our team at this very exciting time for the hotel. As one of our food and beverage associates, you’ll make sure you know every beverage on the menu, so you can make recommendations and answer any questions customers may have. You’ll make sure their food and drinks are served quickly, efficiently and with a smile - and if there are any issues, you’ll deal with them right away. Thanks to you, our guests will feel well-fed, happy and wanting to come back for more.

What will you do as our newly appointed Barista:

  • Prepare espresso based coffees, food and snacks

  • Bus coffee cart areas and coffee shop counter

  • Educate guests on drinks menu, making recommendations based on the guest preferences, up-selling special items

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.

  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas

  • Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customer

  • Ensure cleanliness of all work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day

  • Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank
