POSITION SUMMARY

The Resource & Planning Producer, will work within the Creative Operations team of our in-house creative agency, ELC Studios for a 6month fixed term contract. Specialising in planning and resource management, you'll be tasked with supporting a team of Producers in delivering briefs for high-quality multi-channel creative content. Your responsibilities include overseeing all capacity, forecasting, and planning activities to ensure operational efficiency, drive productivity, and manage costs effectively.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

  • Allocate resources to projects based on priority, brand needs, and team availability, impacting project timelines and overall efficiency.

  • Determine resource requirements and resource allocations for upcoming projects, ensuring the right skills are available to meet project demands.

  • Operate with a moderate level of independence in managing resource allocation and scheduling, following established guidelines and priorities.

  • Take ownership of resource management processes and outcomes, ensuring the efficient utilisation of resources and adherence to project timelines.

  • Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of resource allocation records and documentation.

  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and resource shortages, finding creative solutions to meet project requirements and deadlines.

  • Anticipate and address potential resource constraints or bottlenecks that may impact project delivery, proactively adjusting resource allocations as needed.

  • Collaborate with Producers and ELC Studios Team Leads to address resource-related challenges and optimise workflows for improved efficiency.

Budget Responsibility:

  • Assist in managing and monitoring resource-related budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and constraints.

  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and optimisation efforts to maximize the efficiency of resource utilisation.

  • Collaborate with finance and project management teams to reconcile expenses and forecast future resource costs as needed.

Leadership:

  • Provide support and assistance to brands, producers, and team leads in resource planning and allocation, offering guidance and recommendations to optimise resource utilisation

  • Contribute to departmental planning and strategic discussions, offering insights and recommendations on resource-related matters to support the department future needs and objectives.

  • Participate in talent planning and building a strong roster of external freelancers to support workflow demand where needed
