Senior Pre-Sales Consultant - Market Data Analyst in Energy or Commodities

We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Sales team. The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant collaborates extensively with a broad ecosystem within Enverus. Collaboration with all levels of the Sales organization, Product Management, Professional Services, Business Development, as well as our Partner ecosystem is required to be successful. Our priority is to listen to our clients and understand how we can deliver the most amount of value as quickly as possible. We not only own the positioning and demonstration of Enverus solutions, but we must also can confidently present the Value as to how our applications will help the people and processes in an organization. We are a Trusted Advisor to our clients, which means we maintain and offer our clients extensive knowledge in the industries we service, the workflows we can augment and deliver superior results that support our clients' strategic objectives. We demonstrate and leverage in-depth product knowledge to provide thought leadership and process expertise internally and to customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations.

To be successful, you must seek to genuinely understand customer processes and challenges; envision and communicate what a future state will look like with Enverus applications embedded in the process; map and translate Enverus solution offerings to customer needs; and facilitate alignment across the customer, product management, value engineering, and professional services. Performance Objectives:

Support customer discovery workshops with domain expertise.

  • Run deep-dive demos by industry sub-vertical.

  • Create and deliver sales engagement collateral.

  • Support SOW creation.

  • Run Proof of Concept workshops and demos.

  • Execute data assessments.

  • Field solution capability questions.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with customers to understand their processes and challenges inside and out.

  • Capture holistic solution requirements.

  • Devise and communicate effective solutions to customer challenges leveraging the Enverus solution suite.

  • Deliver deep-dive solution demos and articulate differentiators and value-drivers.

  • Reply to customer requests for information in a timely manner with a detailed response.

  • Act as customer-facing lead during proof-of-value exercises – managing the project, supporting data requirements and assessments, and presenting results.

  • Support sales and professional services in the creation of commercial agreements.

  • Provide field insight and feedback to Product Management effectively and prescriptively.

  • Communicate value across various levels within the organization.

  • Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

  • Works independently with general supervision.

  • Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

    Competitive Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree from a three or four-year college or university

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience

  • Knowledge of Market Data (Published, Exchange, Broker Data)

  • Knowledge of Energy and commodity markets

  • Knowledge of ETRM systems (Allegro, Endur, Eka, Aligne, etc.) is a plus

  • Knowledge of basic risk management reporting (PnL, MtM, Risk Decomposition)

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for long periods, work on a computer with repetitive motions and utilize devices typically found in an office environment.

  • Able to safely lift to 35 pounds at a time using safe lifting techniques.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with another person.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

  • Ability to work in an office environment as required.

  • Travel requirements: 75% or as required for company needs
