VNA Health at Home/London, KY is seeking an Optional/PRN Chaplain to see patients and their families. The Chaplain ministers to patients and caregivers in regard to religious and spiritual beliefs, providing nonjudgmental support within the context of the patient’s culture, values, and belief systems. The Chaplain serves as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team providing spiritual and emotional support for patients, caregivers and staff within the context of illness, suffering, loss and death
Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies or Master’s Degree of Divinity from an accredited school, or equivalent.
Completed four units (1,600 hours) of appropriately accredited Clinical Pastoral Education.
Certification by a professional certifying agency or equivalent, or ecclesiastical endorsement
One year Chaplain experience
Have competencies for chaplaincy, including exhibiting a high level of interpersonal, facilitative and communication skills and ability to do theological reflection.
Certification by NACC or APC or eligibility for certification.
