The staff at Thai Tree are devoted to serving our customers mouthwatering Thai dishes that feature the highest quality ingredients available. We are looking to hire Thai Specialty Cooks to help us continue to offer delicious, authentic Thai dishes. Specifically, our Thai Specialty Cooks will have the following duties:1.Preparing and cooking traditional Thai dishes according to our restaurant’s recipes, using an understanding of the herbs and spices which permeate Thai cooking, including lemongrass, coriander, galingale, garlic, chilies, and narm pla’ (dried fish sauce);2.Checking the quality of the raw and final products to ensure the highest quality standards are met;3. Checking stock levels and ordering supplies;4.Preparing different types of Thai specialty sauces required for meat marinating and dipping so the dishes contain unique and authentic Thai flavors; and5.Performing other health and sanitation duties, as required by law.SALARY: $44,720/yearREQUIREMENTS: 24 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2 years of experience in Thai cooking).Please send resume to Pheniso Inc. dba Thai Tree 3617 Greenpoint Ave., Long Island City, NY 11101
