A leading music company is looking to add a Coordinator to their Digital Service team. This position is responsible for assisting with the ingesting, deep tagging, and data cleansing processes for a large music catalog.

• Match large volumes of music library metadata with lyric data, chart data, copyright data, and other data sets

• Tag songs from the catalog with creative metadata for use in its licensing application

• Identify the Genre, Style, Mood, Instrumentation, Dynamic and Vocal style, amongst other criteria in data taxonomy structure

• Research songs to find relevant data corresponding to its commercial release

• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the taxonomy

• Support users in Film & TV and A&R with PITCH and TRACK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

• Report problems/bugs to the application developers in a detailed and thorough fashion

• Work with users in Film & TV and A&R in a data integrity context to refine the tags/methodology actively attributed to songs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Data Science or Related Field/ Experience

• Proficient with MS Office, Excel (formulas), Teams, Power BI .and digital music conversion software

• Competency in basic, music-related Internet Research

·Experience testing and reporting bugs relating to web-based systems

• You have a strategic mindset and lean on data to inform and track business goals

• A highly organized person that pays close attention to the details

• Strong communication skills: Ability to explain detailed and intricate concepts and ideas

• Good organizational & time management skills with ability to successfully manage and prioritize numerous time pressured analytical activities / projects. Capable of managing performance indirectly

• Ability to work both individually and within a high-performing team

• Ability to manage Product scope, releases, and stakeholders

Work Requirements:

• Availability and flexibility to accommodate hours occasionally extending outside of regular schedule due to collaboration with coworkers in different time zones to support the global teams, as needed

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without any sponsorship
