Paramount Financial Analyst, Theatrical Marketing Finance in Los Angeles, California

Overview and Responsibilities

Paramount is looking for a Financial Analyst, Theatrical Marketing & Distribution to join the team! This position is responsible for providing support to the Domestic Marketing Finance team and will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Domestic Marketing Finance.

Responsibilities include:

Journal entries

Review and manage monthly open PO report

Manage credit card payments and reconciliation

Update and post cost reports weekly

Monthly/Weekly cost allocations

SAP/Ariba Liaison between Operations

Periodic budget updates in financial systems

Process various Billbacks

Handle all financial responsibility for In-House agency, including quarterly/annual updates.

Main contact for coordinating with the operations group regarding policies and procedure

Assist with submission of ultimates done via Hyperion system.

Manage media budgets, including, cost reports, spend to date reporting and close outs

Special projects and ad hoc analysis as required

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related are preferred

2+ years of Finance/Accounting experience

Additional Qualifications:

SAP experience preferred but not required

Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint

Good analytical skills; detail oriented

Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 70,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
