Description We are in search of an HR Recruiter to join our team working in the non-profit sector, situated in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The HR Recruiter will play an integral role in sourcing and recruiting candidates for a range of positions within the organization. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and it involves a hybrid work environment, allowing for both remote and on-site working arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Source and recruit candidates for various roles within the organization, ensuring their alignment with our mission and values. • Coordinate and conduct interviews, thoroughly evaluating candidate fit for the organization. • Manage the onboarding process to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires within the organization. • Utilize your experience in the non-profit sector to build and maintain strong relationships within the community. • Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to enhance our recruitment efforts and community outreach. • Implement recruitment strategies that prioritize the safety and well-being of children within the organization. • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in working with children. • Successfully navigate a hybrid work structure, balancing on-site and remote work to meet the organization's needs. • Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members both in-person and virtually. • Leverage communication skills to resolve customer inquiries and maintain accurate customer records. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.

• Minimum of two years' experience in HR recruitment within the non-profit sector.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the organization's mission, vision, and values.

• Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment strategies and practices.

• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

• Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

• Experience in conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.

• Proven track record in sourcing and attracting top talent.

• Willingness to participate in detail oriented development activities to stay current with HR trends and best practices.
