About the Position:

The Lead Maintenance Worker will supervise and perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. Supervises 

Pay range: $22-$24/hr 

  What You Will Do:

  • Supervises Maintenance Techs and performs Maintenance Duties at multiple campuses.

  • Supervises and Performs property checks for service and cleanliness needs.

  • Supervises and inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.

  • Notifies the Environmental Services Manager of any potential maintenance problems.

  • Supervises and performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.

  • Utilize a variety of powered and non-powered equipment. 

  • Supervises and performs routine maintenance on building systems.

  • Participate in community-building activities as appropriate to the position.

  • Attending workshops, meetings, and training as requested by the supervisor.

  • May serve as Community Advocate role in addition to a job as requested by community leadership.    

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    What You Will Bring:

  • Knowledge of general repair and maintenance industry practices.

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) or equivalent training or work experience

  • Maintain social, ethical, and organizational values and norms; build trust and confidence with the faculty and with the students; respect confidentiality.

  • Applies high-performance standards to all work-related activities.

  • Driver License preferred.
