We aim to be the primary service provider for the people and entities responsible for the care, movement, and long-term preservation of art and culture.

To that end, our Logistics Manager is responsible for the daily oversight and management of the local and national transportation operations. They are also responsible for responsive and efficient client service by leading and coaching a high-performance team and complying with federal, state, and Crozier/Iron Mountain regulations. The Logistics Manager must be able to synchronize all aspects of transportation functions with other operations functions within Crozier.

The Successful Candidate will:

Manage daily transportation operations

  • Assign and coordinate the planning and execution of projects

  • Supervise Dispatch and Art Handler/Driver teams

  • Scheduling and route management

  • Fleet management

  • Ensure safety and security procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to

  • Collaborate with management and HR in recruiting new talent

Lead, mentor and grow your team

  • Manage KPI’s, career development, and performance processes

  • Manage and maintain qualifications and certifications of Art Handlers and Dispatchers

Oversee financial performance

  • Drive margin by controlling costs through review of reports on OT and service levels

  • Analyze and understand budget variance within transportation; investigate and problem-solve questionable data/reporting.

  • Review reports, and make recommendations for changes to improve financial performance

Complete any other administrative duties

  • Oversee timely billing of all projects and daily activity

  • Maintain operating resources including, equipment, and material supplies

  • Process and approve payroll and time off requests

You will possess:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics or Distribution

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Exceptional proven leadership ability, preferred history of managing large teams

  • Capable of working well under pressure and deliver on deadlines

  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

  • Must be knowledgeable of client base to make quick and efficient decisions

  • Ability to move, pack, unpack, lift artwork/property.

  • Must use and/or operate equipment and tools in warehouse, (un)loading trucks, or onsite.

  • Must be knowledgeable regarding art handling procedures and equipment and have the ability to demonstrate proper technique as needed.

Preferred:

  • Strong working knowledge of art logistics, including current packing, handling, storage, and transportation methods and materials/equipment

Reasonably expected salary range: $70,600.00 - $88,200.00
