Job Summary

As a member of the Information Technology Operations and Infrastructure team, the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Administrator II will be responsible for the Installation, Configuration, Administration, Support and Maintenance activities. The work is non-routine and highly complex, involving the application of advanced technical /business skills. The incumbent can expect a very fast paced environment, requiring extensive hands on experience with managing Oracle SOA Suite Infrastructure platform. The Integration Platform consists of 12c versions of Oracle SOA Suite, Service Bus, BAM and B2B. This role requires close collaboration with various internal teams (Development, QA, DBA, PM, SQL DBAs, Oracle DBAs, Sys Admins and Network Engineers etc.) to progress new projects to successfully go-live on Oracle's SOA Suite platform, support lower (non-prod) environments development/testing activities and provide production support. It is a hands-on role requiring the skills to install, configure, support and maintain Production and non Production environments. In addition, this role will coordinate with business analysts, developers, and Database Administrators to ensure optimal solutions, performance and reliability of the Oracle SOA Suite Infrastructure components (e.g. SOA, ADF, B2B, OSB, BAM etc.) and Data Integration among disparate systems.

Duties

Build and Support all different components of Oracle SOA Suite Infrastructure 12c,( SOA, OSB, B2B, BAM, ADF applications, including the WebLogic App server and related Oracle 12c Database and MS SQL DB for JDBC connections.

Required to support mission critical systems in a 24X7 Highly Available (clustered) environment.

Build highly scalable and available environments for the organization.

Performance test planning & execution and tuning of Fusion Middleware products, including WebLogic, SOA, JRockit / JDK and Coherence.

Hands-on administration and configuration for multiple WebLogic domains; supporting full Software Development Lifecycle for several projects.

Implement monitoring tools and techniques for Fusion Middleware components, particularly SOA and OSB services.

Support multiple integration projects in the middleware space, troubleshoot middle-tier issues and assist developers on infrastructure related issues.

Install new middleware software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve middleware software related problems.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field

In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Education Preferred

Master's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field

Experience

Required:

At least 5-7 years of experience as an Enterprise Applications engineer/administrator

Minimum 5 years of experience technical (installation, configuration, administration, implementation, integration, automation and performance tuning) support for production Oracle SOA Suite environments.

Preferred:

Oracle Fusion Middleware/Integration Platform Administration

Preferably between 5-6 years with primary focus on 12c versions of Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, BAM, B2B, OHS, Weblogic. Experience with Cloud integration technologies would be a huge plus.

Prior healthcare insurance payer experience.

Experience in working with EDI and B2B, OSB as gateway.

Experience working with ORACLE 10g/11g/12c RDBMS and MS SQL Server.

Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies with 3rd party applications and databases.

Experience installing, configuring, and utilizing Continuous Integration tools and technologies, including Maven Ant, Hudson, Jenkins, and Git.

Experience working with teams that develop services software.

Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) JCS, ICS, SOACS, PCS, DOCS, DBCS

Experience in Linux and Shell Scripting.

Experience in Angular, Nginix and PM2.
