A little bit about us:

As one of LA's leading 24-hour specialty animal care centers, here at ASEC we are always looking for the next best addition to our Emergency & Critical Care Team. With six specialties and roughly 200 staff members under one roof, growing and advancing your skills here is basically not an option. As a teaching hospital we host externs, interns, and residents every year, which not only helps maintain our positive and supportive learning environment, but keeps our medicine and techniques ahead of the curve. Having been in business for more than 30 years, we have somehow managed to maintain the same fun and friendly workplace that started it all.

And now a little bit about our Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Team:

Our ECC and ICU departments are equipped to provide 24/7 care to incoming critical and non-critical emergencies, as well as transfers from our referring veterinarians, and hospitalized patients from our own specialty services. With multiple criticalists, senior ECC clinicians, and rotating interns on our ECC team, we have the ability to manage our diverse, rewarding, and honestly sometimes chaotic, caseload with ease.

  • Our ECC support team include doctors' assistants, technicians’ assistants, veterinary assistants, and RVTs

  • Our leadership team consists of Shift Leads, a Technician Supervisor, and one very hands-on ECC Department Manager

  • This team thrives on collaboration and support from one another...we would be nothing without our specialty departments, and they would be lost without us. We all work very closely together to make literal magic happen.
