Job Summary:

Working as the VP of Operations, you will oversee a $30+ million annual portfolio of 56 (and growing!) Retail Coffee Cafes across the US in a unique environment (think 3rd wave coffee shop meets workspace). Grab a world class cup of coffee & bite to eat, then take advantage of open workspaces, nooks or community rooms that have outlets and free Wi-Fi. The VPO will lead a team of 7 direct reports and must be based in one of the following cities: Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington DC, New York City and be able to travel approximately 75% of the time. This role reports to the Executive Vice President of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mission of optimizing guest experience through your dedicated team of Regional Ops Directors and SME Support Staff

• Drive a Culture of Hospitality and service excellence through your senior team to the Café level

• Recruiting, Training and Professional Development of your direct reports and leaders within the Café Retail spaces

• Execute 3rd Wave Coffee Brand and food menu to the highest standards

• Development of realistic and accurate forecasts at the regional level

Qualifications:

• Hospitality Mindset / Effective communicator / Results Driven

• Minimum of three years of experience managing P&L retail operations

• ServSafe certified and HAACP knowledge

• Ability to review and make decisions based on financial analysis

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
