Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer in the Accountancy industry, based in Louisville, Colorado. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing technical guidance to a team of developers, designing, developing, and implementing new features for our platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership to a team of developers

• Implement and uphold best development practices within the team

• Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements on our platform

• Provide technical expertise during platform migration processes

• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of our platform and its integrations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including e-commerce, customer service, and enterprise IT, to understand and address business needs

• Keep up-to-date with the latest e-commerce technologies and trends

• Utilize skills in HTML, Magento, Shopify, JavaScript, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance platform performance and functionality. Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 6+ years of experience in the field of software engineering

• Demonstrable proficiency in HTML, Magento, Shopify, JavaScript, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Strong understanding of the accountancy industry and its software requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot software issues

• Proven ability to work independently and in a team setting

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• A track record of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and life cycles

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proactive in staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and best practices in the field.
