Wieland North America (WNA) Finance is seeking a Supervisor of Accounts Payable to ensure accuracy and efficiency of accounts payables processing for Wieland North America and Wieland Rolled Products.

Responsibilities for this role include supporting the accounts payable manager, overseeing a team of accounts payable associates responsible for functions such as vendor relations, invoice processing in a fast paced/high sense of urgency environment, and analysis on A/P processes.Goals are to create shared service environment focused on cross-training across business units and improving/maximizing Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).

This role is located in Louisville, KY and will be fully on-site.

Accounts Payable Supervisor Responsibilities:

* Setting objectives for the account payable team that align with finance department goals.
* Support accounts payable team on a daily basis and oversee training of new team members.
* Ensure the timely payment of all vendor invoices and expense vouchers, reconciling outstanding account balances and the maintenance of accurate records and control reports.
* Create and review wire and ACH payments.
* Provide analysis and maintenance on A/P processes.
* Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close. Review journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Support and participate in implementation of new processes and systems.
* Ensure all team members follow the accounting principles.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures. Respond timely to all internal and external audit questions.

Accounts Payable Supervisor Qualifications:

* BS degree in Finance or Accounting or 3+ years of accounts payable supervisory experience.
* Team management and negotiation skills.
* SAP, Oracle, or other integrated accounts payable and ERP systems knowledge required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Pivot tables & advanced formulas in MS Excel.
* Active participation in continuous improvement process.
* Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a team approach.
* Must be a team player, willing to help others as needed.
* Problem-solving attitude.
* Ability to work effectively with all levels of management to accomplish goals and objectives.
