The Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) is a seven year Single Award ID/IQ contract for maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems. The ATMP portfolio includes 250,000 live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS located at 422 sites worldwide.

The primary customer is PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. PEO STRI’s published vision for ATMP is integrated, one-stop, world-wide maintenance and sustainment for Army Program of Record (POR) TADSS.

ATMP - Maintenance Repair Supervisor:

The Supervisor will status, communicate production goals and objectives of the day/week, assess skill and complexity of tasks, issue work assignments, establish expectations of tasks completion to meet schedule performance goals.

Ensure process integrity to include Safety, Quality, Schedule & Cost which include but are not limited to; Creating and manage performance metrics for sustainment, production and other special interest projects, use & disposal of hazardous materials, adherence and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

The candidate will be required to support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, advise on and implement innovations and process improvements, as well as maintain 6S/lean processes for their area of responsibility.

Candidate must have strong customer relationship management skills.

5+ years of progressive experience and cross-functional knowledge in a logistics and repair and overhaul environment.

Good communication skills, written and oral, including technical writing skills that support leading people in a virtual and matrix organization using Skype, and other media tools to positive outcomes

Good business acumen, ability to understand financial Earned Value data

Green Belt association to support strategy implementation, process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization in repair and overhaul operations

Detailed Microsoft office suite experience that provides the ability to perform detailed analytics needed to demand forecast, data mine from complex MIS, stock fulfillment, and obsolescence management as it relates to Depot repair and overhaul operations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. (Management, Production Operations Management, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience/combined education.

5 or more years of experience in repair and overhaul, managing people and resources, with shop floor management experience.

Understanding of Lean Methodologies/ Elimination of waste.

Demonstrated conflict resolution ability.

Must have experience managing a minimum of 15 direct reports.

Experience handling competing priorities in a cross functional organization with many key stakeholders.

Must be able to work in fast paced, flexible environment.

Desired Skills:

Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.

Ability to lead diverse workforce

Understanding of Continuous Improvement practices and lean production processes.

Experience interacting with internal/external customers.

Must be a highly motivated, self-starter, adaptable to change and able to concurrently handle multiple, widely-varied assignments.

Administers and executes policies and procedures that typically affect individual employees.

Collaborate with Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
