Staffmark Investment LLC Production Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky

The candidate selected will be a crucial member of our client's management team and be responsible for improving the quality, delivery, and operational efficiency of the business by monitoring, identifying opportunities for excellence, and using analytical methodologies to implement improvements. Pay: $30-$35 per hour

Day Shift Hours (starting): 7 AM - 7 PM, Monday-Wednesday

Rotating schedule working 3 days one week and 4 days the next week

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and monitor production schedules.
  • Ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Optimize manpower and machinery utilization.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager on strategic plans and attend daily production meetings.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and develop employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and oversee Paylocity for attendance management.
  • Partner with the Quality team and Continuous Improvement liaison to enhance production methods and equipment performance.
  • Coordinate with other Production Supervisors to ensure seamless operations across all production lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and implement sustainable changes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, and you should have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, and advanced knowledge of production processes and machinery.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment and drive results through effective management practices.
