We are seeking a skilled and detailed-oriented Lumber Production Associate to join our team! The primary responsibility of this role is to operate power tools and machinery for drilling and doweling tasks in the lumber production process. The idea candidate will have forklift experience and a strong work ethic.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location:Lufkin, TX

Pay Range:$16 hr.

What’s the Job?

➢Drilling mats 2 at a time with up to ¾” auger bits this position will use both corded and cordless drills. (repetitive drilling and bending)

➢ Drillers will clean each mat and work area with brooms.

➢ Doweling mats by adding glue to dowels and hammering into holes by use of rods, hammers, and air hammers. (Repetitive hammering and bending)

➢ Bolting mats by inserting 3/8” bolts with nuts by use of impact wrench

➢Driving a Forklift to move Lumber

Tools used: Power drills, air hammers, sledgehammers, impact wrenches and Brooms. Circular saw.

What’s Needed?

· High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training’ or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Forklift Certification preferred.

Must have Steel toe boots!
