Key job responsibilities

  • Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in your organization.

  • Deliver Amazon SEAs North Star programs, its development cycles and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables

  • Execute launch and scale roadmap of Amazon SEA to drive business growth

  • Engaging with internal teams to drive Amazon's sustainability goals

  • Leveraging large data and performance metrics to drive business results

  • Develop integration roadmap for new volume flows and opportunities for Amazon SEA

  • Structure programs within the wider team and build business cases to secure buy-in from teams across Amazon to realize business targets

  • Partnering with finance, legal and network teams to shape future growth plans and scale SEA through new launches and other special projects

  • Willing to travel up to 15%

A day in the life

As Program Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan.

Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Some include:

• Manage launch and review efficiency of deliverable with our internal supporting functions and partner teams

• Work with internal team to build operating models for special initiatives on Amazon SEA growth and own launch projects

• Enhance operational performance on every program in partnership with your stakeholders by leading specific launch improvement programs for SEA.

About the team

Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea,rail and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in leading large, cross functional projects
