The Manager – Investor Services and Transfer Agency is responsible for the management of the daily Transfer Agency activities, ensuring that good quality service is provided to clients. Aside contact with the clients and external business partners you will also interact with various internal teams including Fund Administration, Compliance, Legal and any other teams.

Main responsabilities:

  • Organizing and reviewing the day to day activities related to the transfer agency scope, being:

-Oversee, review and validation of all steps related to Investor level Capital Activity (Capital calls, distributions etc)

Review and oversight of the share/unit registers across all funds

-Organizing and reviewing various Investors reporting

-Oversight and review of AML/KYC due diligence in accordance with regulatory/Fund guidelines; liaising with clients, investors and internal teams where required

-Oversight of static data maintenance using internal data basis and/or TA software

-Oversight of investor level transaction monitoring

-Overseeing regulatory requirements, ensuring that TA activity is carried out within the requirements of the CSSF

-Ensuring Client SLAs are met and acting as point of contact for TA operational activities

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager and escalating items in a timely manner

  • Handling multiple demands from external parties and/or the management reports

  • Delivering a high quality of service to all clients in line with the company’s targets and expectations

  • Ensure that the TA team applies the controls and procedures prescribed

  • Overseeing processes with Auditors and Depositary

  • Leading direct reports and provide trainings and ensuring on-going development of the team

  • Managing resources within the team, promoting efficiency and best practices

  • Promoting CBRE’s culture and values and assisting in creating a positive working environment for the team

  • Supporting the Senior manager or leading various TA related projects

  • Ad-hoc tasks as required

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the Registrar and Transfer Agent position preferably within a management company or financial and corporate services provider.

  • Previous experience in KYC/AML, specifically dealing with complex investor structures (e.g. trusts, foundations)

  • In depth knowledge of alternative investment funds in Luxembourg (PE, RE, debt funds…)

  • General knowledge of various TA related systems and a good understanding of how TA activities are relevant to the Fund cycle and are linked to other key players

  • Previous experience in managing a team is required

  • Relevant university education, preferably in business studies, economics or finance

  • Fluency in English. Any other language will be considered as an asset

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Extensive responsibility dealing with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects/ initiatives.

  • Ability to drive automation and technological solutions across the team.

  • Strong understanding of operational risks and related controls, audit and internal control frameworks.

  • Well organized with strong administrative skills, flexible and self-motivated.

  • Demonstrable experience of working accurately and with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work autonomously and remain calm under high pressure.

  • Strong business ethics, eye for details, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

  • Experience with automated TA systems and investor(s) platforms.
