Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented accountant looking to make an impact in a dynamic corporate environment? We are seeking a Program Accountant to join our client's team and work closely with their newly acquired division. In this role, you will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including revenue recognition analysis, profit and loss analysis, and month-end close duties. You will also support internal and external audits, manage project creation in our ERP system, and maintain accurate accounting records. If you have a solid foundation in accounting, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards, we invite you to and contribute to our client's success.

salary: $25 - $35 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Revenue Recognition Analysis & Documentation:

  • Conduct program-level ASC 606 revenue recognition analysis and maintain proper documentation.

Financial Analysis and Month-End Close Duties:

  • Perform program profit and loss analysis and participate in month-end close activities.

ERP System Management:

  • Create projects in the ERP system and perform monthly account reconciliations using the company's ERP.

Audit Support:

  • Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and resolving discrepancies.

Journal Entries and General Ledger Maintenance:

  • Maintain the general ledger, create and process journal entries, and ensure accurate reconciliation of the general ledger vs subledger detail.
