Job Description:

The HR Business Partner partners with a variety of business functions across the global Orascoptic business unit of Envista to support the ongoing growth. Functions include North America Sales, EMEA Sales (with local HR support), Marketing, Production and critical business functions. The successful candidate will enjoy all aspects of HR including both strategic and tactical. This includes partnering with the Orascoptic leadership team on strategic imperatives, hiring, on-boarding, talent management, talent development, performance management and employee relations; all in alignment with the driving Envista Core Values and accelerating company growth. This position reports directly to the Global Vice President of Human Resources, Ormco with a dotted line to the global head of the Orascoptic Business Unit.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner on-site with employees and leaders at Orascoptic’s global headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin (multi-function, including manufacturing)

  • Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.

  • Develops and leads people engagement efforts, is a steward of our culture and contributes to work that supports and defines the Orascoptic business.

  • Leads and facilitates interactive sessions for employees at all levels of the organization on a variety of topics - from policies and programs, to leadership development initiatives.

  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition team on external and internal recruiting for a variety of role types.

  • Advises and coaches management in appropriate resolution of employee relations and performance issues.

  • Drives talent development efforts for targeted employee populations.

  • Provides support for special projects, both inside and outside of the HR function.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in HR, Business Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources or other business functions working in roles of increasing responsibility.

  • Capable of partnering with leaders at the Sr. Director/VP level, in hiring and developing high performing teams.

  • Experience leading employee relations investigations

  • Proven, strong employee collaboration and partnership experience

  • Working knowledge of recruiting, data capturing, compensation, benefits, and training.

  • Analytical skills using Excel.

  • Strong effective communication skills oral/written.

  • Ability to set and follow process, but also comfortable deviating from process when it makes sense.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Manufacturing/Site Leader experience

  • Strong employment law knowledge

  • Experience collaborating with global HR team counterparts

  • Experience performing HRIS transactions in Workday

  • Prior work experience in healthcare (FDA) regulated industry

  • Leadership Development certifications
