JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: This Researcher position will support the research program of Rachel Grob, MA, PhD and will provide research expertise to fundamental and applied scientific research and solve problems in research development and applications to support the advancement of the Qualitative and Health Experiences Research (Q-HER) Lab. Responsibilities will include overall research support, assisting in grant submissions, developing reports, conducting literature reviews, co-authoring publications, project management, leading dissemination and implementation for various projects including working with and overseeing work with data in video and audio as well as transcript formats. This position may supervise student workers. Responsibilities: Provides technical expertise to fundamental and/or applied scientific research under the direction of senior research personnel or faculty. 20% Collects and analyzes basic research data, conducts experiments and interviews, and documents results according to established policies and procedures 20% Conducts literature reviews, prepares reports and materials, and disseminates information to appropriate entities and assists with publications 10% Trains individuals and groups on equipment operations, research protocols, and techniques within a specialized laboratory or research area 20% Assists with the development of research methodologies and procedures 5% Identifies concerns and recommends solutions to leadership 5% Assists in developing grant applications and proposals to secure research funding 10% Helps prepare, organize, and maintain video, audio, and text clips for the study team 10% Provides operational guidance on day-to-day activities of unit or program staff and/or student workers Institutional Statement on Diversity: Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison.
