JOIN THE TEAM
In this position you will be part of a dedicated development team working for our OEM Coatings Business. The team develops applications for the value stream of product development and technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a fullstack developer, you support us in the development of applications in a modern cloud environment in an agile DevOps team
Understand, analyze, define, develop and fulfill the defined quality requirements for the planned functionalities in close cooperation with the product owners and the development team.
Design and implement the technical concepts in modern software systems (microservice architecture).
Deploy and test the implementation in all the environments and create documentations of the implemented solutions.
Demonstrate the project results within stakeholder community.
Last but not least, keep an eye on current technological developments and use them in your daily work.
You will be working in agile and self-organized way. You not only consider development of new applications but also operations and maintenance as a valuable part of your daily work.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a degree or a comparable education in the field of computer and information science. You have already aquired professional experience in an IT environment.
You are familiar with the frontend technologies Angular (2+), TypeScript, JavaScript, NGRX. In depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST API (JSON) is required.
You have sound knowledge of software development using an object-oriented programming language, ideally Java 8+ in an IDE such as IntelliJ.
You are familiar with SQL databases (e.g. MS SQL, PostgresSQL) and ideally also have first experiences with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
You are familiar with agile DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines to deploy container-based applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
You have experience in the design and implementation of a RESTful API with unit (Junit and similar) and integration testing.
Quick comprehension, high problem-solving skills as well as excellent teamwork and flexibility.
Good knowledge of English to communicate within the team
